at  W12 Conferences, Hammersmith Hospital, London W12 0NN

Online registration:  www.symposia.org.uk

Patients with cancer represent approximately 25% of the in-patient admission in the UK and 33% of deaths.  However, many physicians have limited exposure in their training to oncology.

This course will provide an invaluable grounding for medical and surgical, core and specialist trainees, as well as an update for physicians, surgeons and GPs.

Medical Oncology Trainee Survey 2011

Last year the ACP trainee representatives organised a survey of colleagues to gain an impression of their educational and research experiences nationwide. You can download a copy of the comprehensive report here.

ACP Trainees Meeting 2010

Email Print

This years trainees meeting was held at the City Inn (now Mint Hotel) in central Manchester. As usual it was a great opportunity for trainees from around the country to meet up for some useful education, as well as  socialising with colleagues and comparing notes on training at different centres. As usual the programme covered topics not always included in standard training courses. The value in networking with future consultant colleagues should not be underestimated.  You can download the programme here. Feedback from attendees, speakers and sponsors has been excellent and plans are now underway for the 2011 meeting to be held in the autumn.  Details of the date and venue will be posted here in due course.
